Join WREN for a Seen and Heard Midlands celebration honoring the women and youth of our region whose stories and livelihood enable our community to thrive.
On Wednesday, June 13th, at the Nickelodeon Theater, we'll be hosting the premier screening of Seen and Heard by Columbia-based filmmaker Mahkia Greene, a short documentary depicting the journey of organizers and participants in the Seen and Heard: Women and Girls in the Midlands photovoice project.
You'll also have the opportunity to hear from other community members and network with advocates and other organizations.
Free popcorn, snacks, and beverages will be provided at the screening, with a cash bar available as well. Doors open at 5:30, with the film beginning at 6:00pm. Since seating is limited, registration is required to this free event.
